YES....we have tickets!!
We will be flying the friendly skies in two weeks from today!!! We are leaving on Saturday, February 7th !!! Wow...time sure does fly even when you are having fun!!
At this time we do not know exactly how long we will be in country, but we do know it will be somewhere between 3 to 5 weeks, possibly longer depending on how long our process takes.
Many have asked why does it take so long? Our answer is that each country's process is different. Flexibility is the key!!
The overall process goes like this:
1st week is spent getting to know our children, followed by a meeting to see how we are progressing as a family. The next couple of weeks are spent waiting for court dates to arrive. The great news, is that in between all of this we will be able to learn about and experience the culture of Colombia as we grow together as a family.
