Day 2

The big day has arrived and we met our handsome ninos. The meeting went very well and the boys were as excited to met us as we were to meet them. The majority of today was spent playing and waiting for our room at the El Refugio to be ready for us to move into. Mia has enjoyed playing with her big brothers. Miguel, David and Sergio are all very protective of their little sister. They all play together like they have known each other for a long time. We feel extremely blessed to be able to be their parents. Looking forward to getting to know our children better in the coming days. The photo albums have been a real hit and they are amazed that we have some many family and friends that are waiting to meet them.

Adios

  1. Oh congratulations!!! How exciting! It is so good to hear how all of your kids are bonding. We couldn't be happier for you all. Give all four of your beautiful children a hug for all of us here!

  2. We are so happy to hear everyone had a great first day. Thanks for keeping us informed about your new family. Happy Birthday to Sergio! Can't wait to hear what Mia thinks of her new brothers. Nice to see, in true big brother fashion, the boys are now her protectors. Take care and we will continue to pray for your family.

  3. What an exciting day for all of you! There's nothing quite like that first meeting. Your boys are very handsome and it sounds like they will make great big brothers. Boys are so much fun - but they sure will keep you busy! Thanks for blogging and letting the rest of us "come along" and enjoy your adventures.

  4. You have no idea how many times you have ALL been on our minds this past week as we have prayed for you all. What a goregous bunch of young men! Please know that we continue to pray for a blessed trip, and we eagerly await your return. Give Mia hug and tell her hi, and let the boys know there are an awful lot of people who are VERY excited to get to know them.

    Vaya Con Dios Mis Amigos!
