Day 6

Today we visited a Monastry which was located high above Bogota'. We traveled up the steep mountain in a cable car. There were several buildings and a beautiful church on top.
The city could be viewed far and wide from this location. Lots of pretty flowers were displayed throughout the area. They were well taken care of by many people. There was also an open air market that we walked through. Did not see anything we could not live without.
We took lots of pictures and some video of the view. We went in the morning because it is the best time to view the city from the mountains. It was much cooler on top and harder to breathe. No one but mama seemed bothered by the change.

It was warm in the morning and rainy in the afternoon. We had a lazy afternoon visiting with the other families at our B&B. After siesta time the boys got to build their new lego cars and Mia turned mommy into a frog with her wand!! But luckily she turned me back into a mommy again so I could finish my blog writing.

Tommorow we will visit the Salt Catherdral which is located underground in a salt mine. We will also visit some other small villages on the way. Today 12 of us piled into an extended car and yet there was plenty of room. No one got carsick which was a really good thing!
